No, the SM Gift Card must be fully consumed in one (1) transaction. There will be no change (sukli) if the item you are buying is less than the amount of the card.
TIP: You may convert your SM Gift Card to SM eGift Card (credits) in the Pluxee Philippines app. This will convert your SM Gift Card to a digital voucher that is partially redeemable, shareable, and non-expiring.
